Psalms 4

{I}, the God of {your} righteousness, will hear {you} when {youI} call{CN}. [{Iwill_g}ive {you} relief from {your} distress|{I} have enlarged {you} when {youI} {were} in distress]; {Iwill}have mercy on {you}, {child}, and hear {your} prayer.

How long will the [sons|children] of men turn {My} glory into [shame|dishonor]? How long will [G:they][M:we] love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.

But [M:I ]know that if {youI} {are} godly, {ItheLORD} have set {you} apart for {Myself}{CN}; {ItheLORD} will hear when {youI} call to {Me}, {child}.

[{Do_b}e angry|{Do_b}e agitated|{Do_b}e troubled|{Do_s}tand in awe], [but|and] {donot} sin{CN}; [{do}search|{do}meditate within] {your} own heart upon {your} bed, and be still. Selah.

{Do_o}ffer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put {your} trust in {ME}, {child}.

There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?” {ItheLORD} will lift up the light of {My} face upon [{you}|{you_us}].

{I} have put gladness in {your} heart{CN}, more than when [a_{your}|{your_our}] corn and [a_{your}|{your_our}] wine increased.

{Do_l}ie down in peace, and sleep, {Mychild}, for {I} alone, the {LORD}, make {you} dwell in safety.
